Tea Table Job Description
Set Up Instructions
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled puja.
- Fill tea pots located in the cupboard near the bathroom by the kitchen where you will also find the cords and other related items. Plug one in on the tea table. The other two are plugged in by the sink. Note: Do not plug in both of these at the same time; wait about 20 minutes to plug in the second pot to avoid overloading the circuit. The tea pots take about 30 minutes to reach full temperature, so it is a good idea to heat some water on the stove as well for people who want tea before the pots are ready.
- Tea and other related items can be found in the cupboard near the bathroom by the kitchen.

- Put out more tea as necessary. Place some spoons, spoon side down, in a glass on the table. Put out a bowl for recycling tea bags (compost bucket is under the sink).
- Be sure there are enough cups and water glasses out.

Tea Clean up Instructions
- Unplug all but one pot if this is morning puja (which ever is the fullest) as there may be people meeting with Michael or others that afternoon. Return the soy milk in the fridge. Leave the honey and the sugar on the table in shallow water and clean the containers up as needed. Dump out left over milk and soy milk from their pitchers and either place in dishwasher or hand wash with hot soapy water and let air dry in dish drainer.
- Wipe off the table and discard used tea bags in the compost bucket under the sink.
- Check for dirty cups and spoons around the center and place in the dishwasher.
- Sweep kitchen floor and entryway of the house and run the carpet sweeper over the area in front of the pew.
- If you are the last person here, be sure all the doors are locked, windows are closed, the heat is turned down and unnecessary lights are off.
