Bodhisattva Celebration

Event Leader:

KCC Urban Center Community Room

Please join us Saturday, December 15, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for an evening of stories and other offerings depicting and celebrating  Bodhisattvas in all their incarnations, which can include anyone you know who has brought more goodness and kindness into this world.  This is a fun KCC tradition and offers a way to celebrate the holidays at an event that is appropriate for all ages.

This year, for the first time, it will be held in the community space downstairs, and along with the usual holiday treats that people bring, we are encouraging savory finger food as well. We’d love to have your presence and participation, so start thinking of your own story to share as we gather with KCC community members, families and friends for this annual holiday get-together. We encourage presentations by children of all ages, planned or spontaneous, but if possible, start thinking of your own brief story ahead of time--approximately 3 to 5 minutes--so we can accommodate lots of variety.

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Mary Woods at woodsmb2@gmail.com.
