"We are racing toward our own destination with each moment--like we're on a highway. We could rejoice--look forward to the opportunity to possibly becoming enlightened or reborn in Dewachen, so we are able to benefit all sentient beings." --Khenpo Rinpoche
An ongoing group discussion will be held on select Saturday afternoons 3:00-5:00 pm.
We will continue opening up informal discussions/conversations about death and dying and building supportive resources for ourselves, our KCC community, our families and friends. The subject/content of discussions will be driven by interests, needs, and input of participants. No registration necessary. Please come join us in this important conversation.
On 1/26/2019, the group will meet 4-6 pm.
The 'agenda' for this Saturday's gathering at KCC includes an inspiring 30-minute film "Dying Wish" about a physician who chooses to end his life with dignity by ceasing to eat or drink. After the film there will be time for discussion & sharing; contemplation/recitation/meditation together to whatever time (up to 6:00PM---It may be that we end at 5:00 or 5:30.)
We will meet in KCC's community room (downstairs) at 4:00pm (where the screen is). There will be popcorn.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you who choose to attend!
